Sea day and Margarita Day (in the Pacific between Nuka Hiva and Moorea). Coffee on balcony and then breakfast. Then a swim and lecture on the upcoming ports and history of the area. Day 14 in Nuku Hiva

Arrived Saturday at 9:30. Beautiful weather, but warm today (and a lot warmer than Collingwood). The pilot boat was a lot smaller that what we had in LA, but my guess is the pilot doesn’t get a lot of work. Nuku Hiva is very mountainous due to dormant volcanoes.

Day 13 – We Are in Southern Hemisphere

Crossed equator last night about 8pm. Now have longer days with sun rise around 6 and sunset at almost 6pm. Another day of eating and reading with activities in between.
