Day 14 in Nuku Hiva

Arrived Saturday at 9:30. Beautiful weather, but warm today (and a lot warmer than Collingwood). The pilot boat was a lot smaller that what we had in LA, but my guess is the pilot doesn’t get a lot of work. Nuku Hiva is very mountainous due to dormant volcanoes.

Day 13 – We Are in Southern Hemisphere

Crossed equator last night about 8pm. Now have longer days with sun rise around 6 and sunset at almost 6pm. Another day of eating and reading with activities in between. Temps are over 80F, so warmer than back home. Will be in Nuku Hiva tomorrow morning around 10am. Progress has
